“I just squatted down, and had a cigarette to assess the situation,” says Tony Bullimore of the first moments of the six days that he spent inside of the turtled hull of Exide Challenger. “There was no need to rush, nothing was going to alter much for the better…and worse. Everything that could have happened bad, had happened.”
